The news in Ontario tomorrow on April 3rd will be tough to hear and aweful. It won’t be new news, some predicted it already. It won’t be as bad in other cities, or provinces but it will be bad for us. I hope the news will give us enough to act, to lead, follow or get out of the way for all our sakes. We have to act locally and think globally. We have to act based on what we know and work toward a future. And when information or evidence changes, we have to be resiliant. We have to help each other. We have to use our skills and we have to change and innovate. We have to change our plans for our selves, for our families, for our communities and our cities. Empathy. Safety. Health. Operations, Execution. Help. Continue.

I will continue supporting essential businesses and my local community. My kids are working in the field with the public and helping move things forward and we are all lucky to be able to work everyday and stay safe. I wish the same for you all and yours.

I will call out the bad actors and the propagandists. I will work to hold them accountable for their malfeasance. I will vote for human rights and good governance and a free responsible press.

If you think I may be able to help, send me a note with your 1 page idea, your skills and list of resources you need and I will connect you to my network.

Wash your hands. Be kind. Help someone today. Give thanks today. Some are hurt and dying but we will honour them by surviving. We are still here. Namaste.
